The Console Connect mobile app lets you manage and monitor your Console connections and communications from anywhere at any time. Up-to-the-moment data, utilization graphs, alerts and messages are just a tap away. The app is now available for iOS and Android.
Keeping an eye on your network while you’re on the move hasn’t always been simple, which is why we’ve developed the Console Connect app to put up-to-the-moment connection information in your hands wherever you are. This post will give you an overview of the ways that the Console Connect app can help you stay across network events and communications at all times.
The app can alert you when you receive new connection requests, when a connection’s state changes or when you receive a message. Alerts can be configured in even greater detail in the Alert settings page on the web platform.
The Console Connect app allows you to receive and accept incoming connection requests. You will receive an alert when a new request arrives. Before you accept a request, you can modify the connection’s rate limit, as well as view port and VLAN information. At this stage you can also initiate a chat to hash out further details with the requesting user.
You may also reactivate a disabled connection from the Connections screen.
Once a connection is active, you can view its port, rate limit and VLAN ID, and receive up-to-the-moment bandwidth utilization statistics.
Start or participate in individual or group chats with anyone on the Console platform. You can also mute, mark as read/unread, archive and delete messages as you need.
Search for companies or individual users on Console.
The next release of the app will include bandwidth utilization graphs, complete with support for threshold-based alerts and time frame flexibility (zoom in/out).
