# Console Connect expands Azure ExpressRoute reach with new global locations

Console Connect has expanded its global footprint with five additional Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute locations, bringing the total to 16 locations worldwide. This significant growth gives customers even more options to directly and securely [connect to Azure](https://www.consoleconnect.com/clouds/microsoft-azure-direct-connect/) from strategic data centre hubs in key international markets.

New ExpressRoute locations include:

- Frankfurt, Germany - Digital Realty FRA11
- Frankfurt, Germany - Equinix FR7
- Ashburn, USA - Equinix DC2 and DC6
- Sydney, Australia - Equinix SY2
- Dublin, Ireland - Equinix DB3

These new locations are also critical regional touchpoints for multi-cloud occupancy, particularly for businesses leveraging Azure alongside other major cloud providers.
